CURRENT MISSION
To visit Iceland!
ABOUT ME
Language enthusiast, music lover and movie nut. In my spare time I cook, play guitar and go to concerts. Love to learn about new cultures and countries. I wouldn't describe myself as outgoing, but if I feel empathy towards someone I can be pretty talkative. I like to show people my city, learning the little differences in habits and culture in the meantime. Well I guess that's pretty much it. Oh yeah, I can cook a mean chili con carne if I'm in the mood and I really like craft beer.
PHILOSOPHY
Practice random kindness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host and surf whenever I have the chance.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first surfed in the summer of 2012 in Turkey and it's been a great experience, met lots of interesting people of every kind with one thing in common: being respectful and tolerant, and most of all open to new things and nice to others. My experience in Turkey would definitely have been different (and harder!) if it hadn't been for CS.
Interests
I like music (almost every kind, as long as it's good it has my approval; let's just say that mainstream pop isn't my thing though) and learning new languages, among other things a guy in his twenties usually likes. I have a strong interest in Japanese language and culture, too.
Also, I like going to the movies, reading books, basketball, and probably other things that now I can't remember. Everything and nothing, as you can see.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - anything that's well written or that someway gets my attention. Big Raymond Carver fan. Used to really like Chuck Palahniuk but now I don't know. Music, nearly anything, especially loud and noisy one. And electro. Whatever stimulates my brain, basically. Same for movies, with some space for B movies from time to time. And I love Arrested Development, best TV show ever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Landing in Tokyo and looking outside the window of the train from the airport to the city, it was like a dream come true.
Visiting Tokyo fish market, definitely a crazy place.
Seeing the necropolis of Myra, Turkey.
Climbing Mt. Fuji, something I'd almost define as life changing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I might be able to teach you a little Japanese and Chinese, and Italian of course.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, of course! We're in Italy, after all.
