About Me

CURRENT MISSION

May all beings be happy!

ABOUT ME

Life is good.

Just like most positive New Yorkers, I think I have a pretty good life: a group of close friends around the world, a nice stable job, a healthy body (God Bless!), and more or less decent looks for an average Asian American (I have my mother's eyes). Sometimes I would like to think of myself as a genius, but I might be an idiot instead. I like listening to other peoples' boring stories, because I might tell you similarly boring ones. I laugh at my own jokes (I think more than most people do). I am intelligent and can hold a conversation for more than two minutes. I would like to meet at least 1% of human population; therefore a beer at a bar after work would be nice, but it can't compare with the experience of drinking with strangers while wearing jeans an a t-shirt in a foreign country.

PHILOSOPHY

Just to be nice to people, because they will treat you the same in return. Life is short, enjoy it while you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being the US Country Ambassador is not easy, it means I carry my CS pride anywhere I go. Not only CS has changed my life in so many different ways, I often find myself changing other people's life by introducing CS into their life. I travel and host as much as I can with my busy work and school schedule. I try my best to get to know people. I rarely turn down a request, unless the person seems to be a sucker for sweetness and wants to marry me and move in for good.

I have been telling many people about the CS project: in fact,I almost convinced a whole family to join CS this year, but I still have to work on the mother a little.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never look back on the days without courchsurfing.

Personal Note: Unlike most people on CS who would write a long ass list of the people with whom they have hosted and surfed, I will show you the easiest way to do this – Look on the right side of this page for a section called: "FRIENDS." For the ones with a little couch sign, that means I have hosted them, and you can guess what the plane means.

Aside from endlessly washing surfers' socks and cooking for them, I actually get to know them a little. It turns out they have all ended up on my friends list. Only God knows why.

Interests

Love to sleep because I don't get it often
Love to read (non-pornographic) books
Like to eat chocolate, just not in the morning
Enjoy a typical American college life
Always wonder how awesome computers will become
Dancing is for everybody
You can't live without a friend, unless you are a light house keeper, my dream job.
Shopping downtown is the unwritten law for New Yorkers
I love internet, just like fat kids love their cookies
Kiwi and lemons are different; as fruity as I am, I can't live without them
Money is the source of my happiness. All the rivers started from ice melting from mountain tops. Therefore money making is fun.
