ABOUT ME

Im a searcher deep down, always trusting my gut feelings about things. Im starting to realize that Im not really cut out for today's way of living; consuming, working, hard, playing hard and tolerating bad weather. Instead Ive lately been feeling this extreme urge to get away from it all. I want and need to leave my home, everything, to set my mind straight. It's time for change, big change! I want to get closer to nature, be in the sun, meet new people, exchange new ideas, experience new things because as a searcher Im always on the lookout for different perspectives. This doesn't mean that I want to turn my back on everything, far from it, I think of it rather as injecting new energy and inspiration into my life. My first step is to embark on my biggest adventure yet; Im going to travel alone for seven months starting November. Here we go and see you out there..!

Interests

Travelling like everyone else :-)

Food, both eating and cooking, is one of my biggest interests, its unfortunately beginning to show on my tummy.. I love Asian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. Street food is my favorite.

I love going out to just dance for hours.

Animals, especially my dog Nacho, best friend in the world. Nurturing a dream of turning animal care into a career.

Movies: Big Lebowski, Good Fellas, The Shawshank Redemption.. Love going to the movies.

Tv-series: The Wire, The Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, Rome

All kind of music as long as its good! Love dancing to house and electronica.

The Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole is by far my favorite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Borneo's jungle was amazing, meeting the orangutans in Sepilok and discovering Danum Valley one of my best experiences ever!
