Overview
About Me
Long story short - lived in Sweden, Germany, England and Chile during my childhood and will end my bachelor of engineering in Switzerland this year. I love nature and hiking and just being outside in general. I enjoy a nice café too, just to sit and watch people walking by. I love good food and have discovered asian cooking while travelling as these products are often cheaper, such as egg noodles. I love getting to know new people. I travelled for 10 months in my gap year and was in Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Costa Rica, US and Canada. I just looove experiencing new countries!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard a lot about it and decided to check it out. I also love the idea of living with locals and not in a hostel, where you only meet other travellers. If I'm in a new country I don't want to meet Germans, but the locals and talk with them and experience their daily way of life.
Interests
I love hiking, nature walks, long days at the beach, any type of sport (jogging, tennis, riding, skiing, rowing) and I'd love to learn so many more,.
I also really enjoy good food and getting to know different meals! (just tried poutine in Canada and it is absolutely delicious)
I like going out just as much as a relaxed evening just talking over a nice dinner or drink.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a favourite book, at the moment I am reading "Wings of Madness" by Paul Hoffman, which is a biography of Santos-Dumont who made great progress in the aviation industry. Actually come to think of it I really really loved the book "Child 44", which is set up in Russia to Stalin's reign and a great read!!! Oh aaand „A Walk in the Woods“ by Bill Bryson I think:)
I really like latin musik like reggaeton or jamaican music reggae - any music to dance to alle night long!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Honestly I can't think of anything right now. I haven't saved a life, if thats what you want to hear ;)
Swimming naked in glacier lakes.
Teach, Learn, Share
By personal experience I have learned that the saying "smile and the world will smile back at you" is very very true. A smile doesn't cost you anything so why not?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can't think of anything special and I think it always depends on the country. I love to cook and bake and enjoy a local craft beer or red wine :)
