About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm enthusiastic about life, love the outdoors, eating and discussing things of relevance with close friends or travellers with an interesting view of the world. I like to explore the less travelled tracks and occasionally dance like noone's watching.
PHILOSOPHY
- Listen to your heart;
- Make your own rules;
- Find your own path;
- Never give up;
- Never settle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a flexible full time job so I can offer my time mostly in the evenings or on the weekends to show you around, talk, etc. I enjoy it a lot when I can include the people I host in the "local" things that I would do anyway- like participating in the community activities, going mushrooming, going to a rock concert, popping into a cool exhibit, taking a drive outside of the city to roam around in nature and pet my horse, etc...whatever seems mutually interesting :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in a few places and has been AMAZING each time so I want to share the great experience and energy. I enjoy seeing the thrill of discovering a new country in the eyes of the surfers I host. They've taught me so much and being able to give someone an awesome experience by just sharing a bit of time is the best feeling :) My secret passion is giving ambush couchsurfing experiences to unsuspecting tourists, hihii :)
Interests
People and languages- how they perceive and interpret the world, discovering similarities and differences, horsebackriding, x-country skiing, running as a form of self-torture or social passtime, yoga, hiking, behavioral economics and psychology, eating & cooking, reading, dancing, learning how (random) things work, listening to stories about lifeexperiences, exploring limits, doing things that scare me, construction works...anything that gives an adrenaline rush or tickles the the mind, really the list is endless. I try to feed my mind as often as I need to eat.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Thank You For Smoking, Wag the Dog, Leon, Silence of the Lambs, anything by Tim Burton, Hollywood classics, Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, going to film festivals to see independent movies that leave you wondering for hours and days.
Music: doesn't really matter as long as there's good company or it suits the situation but anything with a good beat never fails to get me jumping. So if I were to make a list it would be eclectic- Kongos, Paul Kalkbrenner, Foo Fıghters, some African and Middle-Eastern sounds that make you really feel connected to the environment, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've heard there's an international case-study about the first time I was in Turkey and once there was a moment where I just felt like yodeling :)
I've road-tripped alone in my car across Europe from Estonia to Turkey with just my dog for company.
Setting extreme situations aside the most amazing things for me are perfect moments when you're exactly in the right place, with the right people and in the right mood and you'd like to stay in that moment forever :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy cooking for/with friends and aquaintances. I'm curious about a vast number of topics so I'd love to hear about anything that makes your eyes spark. I'm also up for anything athletic and outdoorsy.
