I'm Nele and I'm currently studying in Dresden, Germany. I really like my studying but between the semesters I absolutely need to clear my mind and no better way for that than visiting new places.
Besides traveling I have a weakness for good chocolate, sundowns and frozen raspberries.

I love the idea of not only visiting countries but getting in touch with real locals. In my opinion, the best thing that can happen to you on a trip is when remembering afterwards not only the sights but also the people I met there and the time we spent together. It's perfect to explore the huge variety of culture in our world!

I absolutely love books written by Michael Ondaatje like Anil's Ghost, Coming Through Slaughter or The English Patient. I don't know why but there ist something that makes me enjoy every single word of them.
In music, I'm not able to call this or that my favorite one. It always depends on my mood, the time and the weather ;-) But some permanent members on my playlist are Robert Francis, Gabrielle Aplin, Stromae, Ben Howard, BOY, Lucy Rose, Ben Khan, Little May, The Chemical Brothers, Fauve, Raury, Leo Stannard... And sometimes there's nothing better than a nice piece of Ludovico Einaudi.
