Overview
About Me
I am 18-year-old who graduated from high-school this summer. I specified in humanities, which included literature, history, phlosophy, art, music, etc. I studied in Tartu, which is the second largest city in Estonia. The city is filled with university-students from all around the world. The hustle and bustle got to me and after graduating i started my first semester in University of Tartu, the oldest and most honourable uni in Estonia. Because i had been acting in schooltheatre plays the whole of highschool and i did not qualify for the only acting school in Estonia, it seemed reasonable to study sciences of theatre. The first semester i put all of me in it and in return i got some B-s and A-s on my papers. It did not fulfill me as theatre always had been. I wanted something more. The lectures were not interensting enough to force myself for another 3 years. I could not allow this to be my life right now, not yet. Over winter break i decided to drop out and go see the world, discover myself, make and listen to music, eat good food, write, read, meet new people, get some experience before i dive into something that specific in depth. I don't know yet, what exactly i want to do in life, but this is a interesting place to be. I have enjoyed every single moment of this experience so far. Let's hope it gets even better!
I am also interested in learning more about sustainable way of living. I see how much food i waste and i feel like i am not the worst of examples. Since last summer i have not bought one plastic bag neither for my fruit and vegetables or in general. This is a very small effort i can make and i want to learn more.
In future i am sure i want to live somewhere in a forest, grow my own potatoes, carrots and apples atleast, but best if all my food. This year i started my own pot field on my windowsill where i seeded some basil - Great accomplishments start with little changes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My next adventure is starting at the 18th of april. I am taking a one-way ticket to Bulgaria. At frst i have planned to be working in a farm for a few weeks. And then start my journey back to Estonia trough eastern-europe. For i have never been there, it would be cool to discover some places with the locals.
Interests
I have been making music and performing in theatre plays for the last few years of my life. I feel like in it there's something one can't express with words. Whenever i have been feeling down, when i take my guitar or sit behind a piano and start singing, the problems seem solvable all of a sudden. But this is not all there is in art for me.
