Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed and hosted a bit before really joining CS through other peoples profiles and other ways. My house is open to people who need a place to stay in Gent, we have plenty of space and stuff to sleep on. If I'm not too busy, i can even show you around and get you slightly drunk!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Napoli (Italy) for the first time last year through the CS program which was an incredible experience! Surfed and hosted few times outside of the website, from offering a bed to far acquaintances in Bologna to sleeping in a mountainhut that was offered by a drunk Austrian-Italian. All of this got me keen to start paying it forward and do something back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting Jacky Lafon during my year abroad in Italy. Jacky is a famous Belgian soap opera actress who was outsmarted by a chimp in a televisionshow once. Classic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am probably willing to learn anything you are excited to teach me.

I like to cook, both learning and teaching. I am quite unsystematical in the process but I always enjoy it. If you can surprise me with a cool recipe, you will make me very, very happy. I am not sure if anything beats my potatoes though...
