Overview
About Me
Hi! I am an American student majoring in Spanish Literature, Culture, and Translation, but I currently have been studying abroad at the Universidad de Murcia in Murcia, Spain for the past 5 months, where I will stay until the beginning of June. I plan on traveling as much as I can throughout my time in Europe. I am looking forward to meeting new people and sharing experiences/stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, and it would be great to have a host who lives in the cities I visit show me around and introduce me to the wonderful aspects their city has to offer. From my experience so far, local restaurants, shopping, activities, etc. are almost always better than the more touristy areas, and what better way to get to know local aspects than through a local resident!
Also, being a university student is costly, and I am paying my own way through school, including my time here studying abroad. I would like to have as many travel experiences as possible, and the money I could save by being hosted instead of at a hostel would help me fulfill more of my travel dreams.

Books: Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, House of Night, The Great Gatsby, supernatural fiction, mythological fiction, historical fiction
Movies: Harry Potter, Burlesque, The Polar Express, romantic comedies, (will add more when I think of them)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the most amazing thing I have done in my life was my recent 4.6 kilometer (2.8 mile) hike between the Cinque Terre, Italy towns of Corniglia and Vernazza, up 200 meters (656 feet), and back down.
I also scaled the 368 steps from sea level up to the town of Corniglia right before the hike between the two towns.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can help you with your English, maybe show you some dance moves
Learn: In the same way, I would appreciate any help in learning Spanish, and little bits of any other languages that I encounter along during my trips
