I'm Nellie, 27, English but currently living in Sydney! I'm from rural England and have lived in Colchester, London, and Warsaw, Poland (for a year abroad during uni).

I've been in Sydney since Sep 2023, and have travelled extensively across Australia, with just WA unticked.

When travelling, I love to meet new people and learn about the culture and history of where I am. I always make sure to get on the walking tour(s), and a bar crawl (or two) never hurts! I love visiting museums and galleries, and really want to get a feel for a place as a local, seeing live music in pubs or going to comedy shows.

Unfortunately I'm not in a position to host couch surfers yet (I would love to!), but will meet up, provide tips/recommendations, or offer general support :)

I'm a seasoned European traveller and now branching out to see what the rest of the world has to offer

I've always built my travels off the recommendations of others, whether it's for pubs, walks, or cultural experiences. For me, a massive part of travelling is meeting new people and gaining new knowledge and perspectives on the place I'm visiting or the world and life, and what better way to get that hands on experience of a place than couchsurfing.

In addition to dynamic, interesting, witty conversation, I come housetrained from nearly 10 years of travelling and living in house-shares, and some cooking abilities. I take an active interest in everyone I meet and the places I visit, and won't be a ghost about the place.

I also love going to events and activities no matter if I've even heard of it before, so will be a willing plus one to anything you want company for. I will also help you win your local pub quiz.

While I can't necessarily host couch surfers at this point (got to love staying with family!) I'll always do the best to support the people that have hosted me before if we cross paths again
