ABOUT ME

I'll tell ya all about myself (if you want) if and when we meet up. I find it difficult to describe myself, but what you should know is that i'm open to getting to know pretty much anyone. I love learning the strange little details of other people's lives, and I love having friendly arguements for the sake of learning something new. Reading and writing are two of my favorite things to do. I love to eat yummy food. Butter makes everything better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I find myself in a place of my own, I'll certainly be happy to host some surfers. For now though, I'm searching for couches across Europe for the summer. I would so much rather meet cool people and really get to know the places I go than stay in a hostel and cluelessly roam around (as fun as hostels are). I believe that couchsurfing offers a wonderful opportunity to travel authentically and be a tourist without experiencing your trip like a tourist normally does.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing on a cross-country trip across the U.S. a few years ago, and thought it very wonderful. It just reminded me how many well-meaning people there are in the world who crave new experiences and genuinely want to help out. Currently, I'm not in a place to offer a couch, but as soon as I move to a place of my own, I'll be happy to host some world travellers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i witnessed a chicken sacrifice in Jamaica, where a woman bit the chicken's head off. i felt like i was temporarily living on the Discovery Channel.
