Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To be honest I haven't been able to host surfers myself yet (but plan to when I can) and I've only couch surfed once but my host deactivated his account so it doesn't show anymore :( . However it was a great experience and I admire this community of travelers and backpackers supporting each other all around the globe!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy historical movies, action movies, animation movies (from Pixar to Miyazaki). Can't watch horror movies :(

I love good, long, well written books, all the more if they have unexpected plot twists or surprising endings.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Traveling and living abroad is probably the most amazing thing I've done; it has allowed me to meet awesome people all around the world. Maybe also getting my MA in Korean Studies in Korea.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teaching and learning about History has always been my passion. People think Historians know it all and remember all battles and dates (wrong!), but rather than that, we learn how to think historically and look at events and processes differently.

I'm also into arts (particularly painting in oil or watercolor), which was a huge hobby when I was little, but it was left aside as I grew up and needed to focus on my studies. I'd love to learn about art, photography, sculpture, architectural monuments, etc.

I actually like house chores and can cook some basic Chilean dishes. Also I'm an Historian, so we can have really interesting conversations and discussions about History :) I'm fluent in English, native in Spanish, and can speak basic Korean
