This is Nelly from Hong Kong. I am a journalist and usually travel alone in vacations. Places that interest me are those with deep cultural and historical backgrounds. While travelling I enjoy observing how local people live and feel the atmosphere. As a lone traveller, I talk to locals and other travellers to exchange our thoughts and culture, which always lead to new discoveries!

I am new in couchsurfing, but I believe that the easiest way to understand a country is to talk to those who really live there, not to say staying with them for a few days.
