About Me
My friend once called me a buffet table person. I guess she was right, kind of. I love to do and experience. That's the reason I'm always busy and I have lots of things to do.
I used to study in Kallio upper secondary school of performing arts. Acting, writing, dancing and that kind of stuff. Now I'm studying Restaurant and hotel management (Haaga-Helia UAS).
My interests include every type of handicrafts (if you know some new fancy technique, give me a tip.), trekking, scuba diving, photographing, dancing, TALKING and smiling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an incredible opportunity to get to meet new people and get beneath the surface in the culture you're staying. Traveling for me is not so much of seeing new fancy places rather than meeting the people and getting to know the culture. What would be a better way to accomplish that than getting to know the locals? Couchsurfing is really good way to do that. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Musicals, musicals, musicals.
Phantom of the Opera, Chicago and Moulin Rouge are on the top of my list. Dirty dancing, Chocolate, Mamma Mia, Edward the Scissorhand and last but not the least Pride and Prejudice are my favorites over all.
From books, I don't know what to say. I've read such a massive amount of good books that I can't pick one or even a few best ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My journey in Nepal with the Finnish scouts in April 2013 has been so far my most eye-opening experience. We spent a month by travelling and getting to know the culture so foreign for me. We spent 2 days in a national jamboree of Nepal scouts, jumped a bungee from a bridge above a huge gorge, we're trekking 2 weeks in the Himalaya and summited Kyanjin Ri, 4770 m high mountain in Langtang National Park.
The 21st World Scout Jamboree in United Kingdom. Beforehand I knew it was going to be a huge camp, but I couldn't even imagine the truth. Almost 40 000 scouts all over the world gathered in one place, it was really amazing.
One of the trips that took the most courage was my interrail in the summer 2009. I went to Europe all by myself, even if my mom doesnt really liked the idea. It was my first trip abroad on my own.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a cheerful and spontaneous person, who always takes the chance to experience new things. I can tell you about Finnish and Nordic culture and maybe even teach you a few words of finnish. :)
