About Me

CURRENT MISSION
...I live in Berlin now...

to take everything as it comes and not get worked up over the small things

I like to make things, garden, ride bikes.
I'm from the States and after living in Prague for nine years, and Hradec for 2 years, I moved to Berlin.

I really prefer being outdoors to indoors.
I enjoy working with kids. I was running my own café-bar for 3 years in Prague and teaching with various school projects. Now Im working in a Family Cafe and teaching kids online...and hope to work in 2 pre-schools again...once school is back to its regular schedule.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is so nice to stay with people than to stay in some hostel or dorm.
I live in guesthouse and am not so sure how it'll work with CSing... we can see. I have an extra bike you can borrow and I'm happy to show you around town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first couchsurfed in Berlin in 2007 and hosted my hosts back in Prague a couple times. Later that spring I meet people in Istanbul through CS, stayed with people in Romania through CS and Hospitality Club and hosted people from HC. It is like hitching and rideshares...such a diverse community of people, which you often can't manage to meet on trains and buses or driving your own car.
