I'm a firm believer, that the best way to tell if there is "something" between two people is to talk / meet. I also think pictures can help tell a person's "story" ( they're worth 1,000 words, right?) so I've included quite a few (ok, an obnoxious amount :-) to give a better glimpse of who I am.
That said… I've always been told that I have a "old soul" ~ which I took to mean I might be somehow related to James Brown or Barry White (I actually think it means I'm able to see the big picture and tend to keep things in perspective...) My friendships are deep and longstanding and nothing makes me happier than listening to what's going on in the lives of the people I love. I'm not your typical "guy's guy" so you'll rarely find me glued to a remote - killing a day watching sports. I've been told I'm expressive, honest, smart, compassionate, sensitive, empathic, introspective, supportive, passionate, funny, goofy, affectionate and driven. I strive to be balanced, forgiving and accepting (of myself and others). I have a T O N of energy and I 've been told I have a "boyish exuberance" for life (and boyish looks to match... so I'm told :-) I like to be active! Running, biking, swimming, yoga, tennis, softball, volleyball have all been in the mix at some point! I LOVE music (play drums / guitar), so I'm almost never without it and still perform daily to small audiences (i.e. whoever can fit into my car or shower :-). I love to see live music of all kinds in all venues (street fairs to stadiums). I'm also a big movie-goer (my annual Oscar Party is a blast). I love to dance (it's a rhythm thing) and have even taken formal (swing dance) lessons in the past. Next on the list is Salsa!! Also on the list of interests: photography, cooking and traveling. Suffice it to say, I'm somewhat goal-oriented, but not obsessed. I don't like to make "lists" of what I'm looking for… it's best just to meet. That said, historically, I'm drawn to women who are in-touch with themselves emotionally, comfortable with themselves physically and who have an adventurous spirit. I'm also drawn to women who are affectionate and warm (not so much thermally as personally, but I’ll take both). I'm looking for someone to whom I can be a best friend... and have chemistry that is off the charts!!!
