Overview
About Me
I change my profile almost compulsively. I started it when I was on a trip to Europe, but now that I'm back in Montréal I guess I could host.
I try to have as few expectations as possible, and to go "where life leads me". I'm looking for day-by-day adventures, foundational life experiences (not really), and good old fun.
ENTP/INTP Budget: $$
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now, meeting up and maybe hosting.
If I can be honest, this "Why I'm on Couchsurfing" section of everyone's profile is always the least interesting, and I never pay much attention to it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I like anything Robert Fripp or Brian Eno have touched
Movies:
my friends have shown me Robert Bresson, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Louis Malle, Yasujirō Ozu, Ousmane Sembene, Abderrahmane Sissako, and Bela Tarr
Books:
im buying cheap bouquins that fit into my jacket pocket. not all of them are good. I wish I read more, and I know that there's a certain slice of high-calibre couchsurfers for whom the "Books" section is the first thing they check out, and I'm sure I don't always "pass the test". Anyway, fwiw, my favourite author is John Crowley.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped into the river off the bridge. It was pretty high up, but i guess you have to have had been there. Plus i like barely hesitated, but another guy took like an hour to build up the courage
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some rudimentary piano. my cooking is not bad for a student
I think I'd give good day tours of montreal and alright night tours
I'm always interested in learning languages, or learning how to make a culturally significant dish
What I Can Share with Hosts
Human contact, the cleanup, material goods
