Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Successfully conquer Europe in ways Napoleon never could; by eating all your food

ABOUT ME

I hail from Australia but have Portuguese origins. Finished school then completed a degree in Physiology.

Always preferred the pursuit of knowledge and accumulating experiences than grinding down and learning only what you need to know, couldn't tell you how frequently Ive gone of and done my own thing and just studied whatever interested me which obviously doesn't work well when you need to pass.

I think in order to really appreciate what you have you might need to see what else is out there. And how do you do that? Maybe go for a walk

After completing UNI I decided to join my friend as he continued to visit each corner of the world, currently we are moving through Europe and plan to do so for a year. Feel free to help us out and show us what it really means to live on your side of the world

PHILOSOPHY

Honour.
Live life honourably and all that that entails.

If that's not good enough for ya then how about a completely irrelevant analogy on life:

Life is intrinsically similar to YouTube, so many choices, where to begin? What path do you take? How do you end? Before you know it you've taken the road littered with deadly animal encounters - watching a mantis take on a scorpion that gets snatched by a bird then taken out by a spider, this somehow leads you onto a montage streak of videos restoring faith in humanity, a quick detour and you've landed yourself in a pool of motivators and demotivators, you get impressed and guiltily ashamed at your inadequacies as people show of feats like back flipping into the splits onto 2 balance balls, you then regain your self confidence and feel pretty dam awesome as you see others fail at life in such spectacular manners and then, when all else fails, when everything has been said and done and you think you've seen all that there is to see comes the 360 that drops you flat on your face. You sit there wondering, what is this..what...no..is that.. And yes it is friend, for before you stands an absolute legend of a man who's grown out his beard around his head in the shape of a cage, you stand and salute the man for his audacity but also shed a tear for his courage, for in this act he has surely condemned himself to a life of solitude and starvation in the preservation of the betterment of mankind, this construct of facial follicular beauty is not only his trademark but his visual and metaphorical cage, for he cannot eat, cannot sleep, cannot drink. But then the heavens part, lemurs sing, rhinos fly and this man, this heroin slowly pulls down a bearded latch attached to his bearded face that opens a bearded door.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

With as much vigour as humanely possible.

Got a weird fetish where you like spoon feeding new couchers dressed in diapers?
Bring it!
Prefer quietly reading a book as the sun sets bellow a rainbow that's actually a thousand glittering birds reflecting off the ocean?
You'll be in good company!
Into husky sledding a toboggan designed bob sled while simultaneously bungie jumping off a bridge that's being towed by a plane?
Then you sir are crazy!
Challenge accepted

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Originally I didn't know what to think about couch surfing because you never really know what to expect with people you don't know. But ever since trying it out in Finland, for me it's now the only way to travel
It's just the best way to get to know the people that actually live where your visiting and learn what it means to be part of their culture
And sometimes you even develop close nit friendships/families with those you travel with

Intereses

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach you why it is that lemurs should be your number one choice if you ever enter an argument or discussion revolving around: 'if you could choose any animal you wanted to be what would you choose'
