COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed yet, though I've tried, it just hasn't come to fruition.

Interests

Music - folk, blues, roots, dixie, swing, bluegrass, zydeco, cajun, rockabilly, psychobilly, soul, country soul, 50s and 60s, Irish trad., British folk, ABBA, disco.
It's all too much.

Pretty much banjos, fiddles, accordions, guitars, mandolins, double basses, tinkly pianos, honky tonk pianos...maybe some horns for the added pizazz. Different musics that make me dance, from Mazurka to Jug band.

Dancing to the above any time anyone will offer.

Books: Dracula, Crime and Punishment and historical non-fiction, sci-fi, but not an expert by far, Dick and Asimov.

Pretty tenuous. I sang a song with a fiddle player who had played with Woody Guthrie (apparently...).

Teach, Learn, Share

If I thought I could teach you something, I would. Maybe some history stuff, music stuff and quotes from comedies. I like to sing, so we could harmonise till dawn if you'd like.

I want to: remember the words to songs instead of get terrified, learn how to play chess strategically, learn languages, learn how to play with children, learn how to play the banjo like Bela Fleck, piano like Jelly Roll, mandolin like Yank Rachall or Bill Monroe and sing like Emmylou Harris.

Oh and if you can bake/cook, I would be so happy to be taught some things. OH and if you like fishing and can help me with that then come on over.
