About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding my limits (therefore, me) through exposure to the unfamiliar, and roughing it!

ABOUT ME

After getting a PhD I choose to enjoy the most unstable years of my life. Dreaming of becoming editor of national geographic. I'm planning on paving my way towards that goal by constant restless vagabonding, taking pictures, writing (even if it has to be bilingual Science Journalism for a while), cooking at greasy joints in Bangkok, making a few dimes fire hula-hooping in Rabat, teaching diving in the Red Sea and learning Kung Fu by the Yellow River.

PHILOSOPHY

"travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things can not be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain -

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain -

"I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free." Nikos Kazantzakis's epitaph

"We shall never cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time". T. S. Eliot

"Never make somebody a priority, who only considers you as an option" No idea who wrote it

"Devotion will make you complete" From my last fortune cookie.
