About Me

Hello,
My name is Nemanja, I am 27 years old and I am coming from Serbia.
I have finished ecology at the University of Natural Sciences. During my studies I have done voluntary work in the same branch of my studies. I am great fan of nature and I try to spend my free time in it as much as possible. Beside that, I am quite fond of sport and I have been a professional waterpolo player for two years.
My injuries prevented me from to continuing my career.
My friends say that I am a "lunatic" but in a positive way, i am always up for party, good laughter, chilling out till the sunrise, traveling and meeting new cultures of this world and beyond
They also say that I always turn usual events in to unusual and memorable ones.
The atmosphere around me must be positive and that is what makes me distinctive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far I have been the organizor of two international volontary camps. There for I have learned about other cultures and nationalities as a host. However, I have no experience of being someone guest and I would really like to try that.
In my opinion, the best way to meet a country is by becoming part of that some country......in other words....
My primary goal is not to come as an ordinary tourist, but rather as a person willing to become one with that country and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have favorite, I listen to any type of music. Whatever appeals to my ears is my favorite music.
My favourite book is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is jumping from a plane. The feeling cannot be described in words, you must experience it yourself.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach my host best is how to prepare some of traditional Serbian food, which is considered to be that of gourmets. On the other hand you can, for instance, be my history teacher.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The thing I can offer to my host is richness of my country and our culture, tradition, history and a national cuisine.
Beside that, I can share the personal stories from my abundant experience.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Spain, Turkey
