ABOUT ME
vegetarian, blogger, sunshine addict, bike rider, hula hooper. I love life, music, people, books, craisins... the world right now with my Aussie boyfriend Patrick, we just got back from Central America and Southeast Asia, and are leaving Kentucky and headed back to Oz. Adventures never seem to stop, and we like it that way.
PHILOSOPHY
I tend to be very opinionated, but at the same time I really do strive to get along with everybody and see different sides of things. I love getting to know all kinds of people, I feel it is the only way to grow.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love angry girl music and mainstream hip-hop.
I read David Sedaris, some Nick Hornby, various travel writing books, and, guiltily, Elizabeth Gilbert.
I also, guiltily, can probably quote you every line from Forest Gump. no but seriously.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got involved with an group called Mountain Justice Summer, a grassroots organization that works to fight against blowing up the top of the Appalachian mountains in order to extract tiny seams of coal. Seeing all these passionate people working so hard for what they believed in really motivated me and still does.
I also went to Ireland for 4 months, and I'm a little heart broken to be back in the states... Europe is way cooler.
I've also been a tour guide in Bowling Green KY, driving a boat inside a cave and cracking ridiculous corny jokes. Keep in mind it's limestone folks, so don't take it for granite.
I've worked various jobs in journalism and PR in North Carolina, Washington, DC and Kentucky. You can read my blog musings at coffeecavewoman.com
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you some hula hooping tricks and also make you some tasty beer bread! I welcome all people from everywhere, and lately I've really enjoyed any chance to practice Spanish. Te gusta practicar con me? por favor? :)
