ABOUT ME

Born and raised in a small town renowned for it's beauty and charm, i've never stopped dreaming of exploring the outside world. I have travelled to many different places inside China border before i came to work in Mauritius, and i wish to visit as many countries as i could in the future although both Chinese passport and my budget are kinda restricted. Though received typical Chinese education, i've come to understand and experience multi-cultures during the last three years working abroad. I prefer to immerse myself in a multicultural environment and exchange different perspectives rather than live a monotonous life. I am more of a sentimental type and am easily moved .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A few years ago, i ran into a Polish guy asking me the way to a bar while me and my friends were also lost on our way , we ended up hanging out together and travelled around Shanghai as tourists, after we were astonished that his whole trip to China were based on couchsurfing and with so little budget could he managed to complete the trip with the help of courchsurfing, i decided to be a member of CS in no time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before i planned the trip to Mauritius, i started to contact locals of Mauritius on CS seeking for help and tips, the feedback from them are quite helpful, and i ended up making good friends with them after i got here. After i relocated my work here, i spend loads of fun time with them.

Interests

I used to spend all my idle time with movie & music and started to play guitar a few years ago yet ashamed to be a beginner still, now am more into Photography, as an ameature i have been lucky enough to be invited for shooting some weddings, engagement and anniversaries, etc. In addition, i have developed interests in gardening, and have sucessfully planted some veg and flowers and quite enjoy the harvest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of Coen brothers', Hitchcock, David Finther,David Lynch, Almodóvar, Alejandro González, etc, ganster movies, documentary, indie movies and comedies as long as the director tells good stories. I'm a big fan of SNL , game of thrones , Greys anatonmy , Miranda, the IT crowd etc. I don't follow too many TV dramas coz it's too time consuming..
So far, some musicians are irreplaceable in my heart, like Jack Johnson.Coldplay. I loved rock music back in high school then more into folks & indie in college n now transferred to classic jazz music. Sometimes I simply downloaded a whole album of movie OST if it catches my ear such as Searching for sugarman , guardians of the Galaxy , Juno , Science of sleep , Brokeback mountain etc.

To wait and watch the flowers bloom in my little garden, and to make people who cares about me happy.

Teach, Learn, Share

When it comes to teach I probably will be a good Chinese teacher and calligraphy teacher. I don't have abundance experience to share but I definitely have some nice photos and fun moments to be seen.
