About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Start all over again. In Sweden. In charge of two castles.

ABOUT ME

Divorced skier, manic lounger and adventurous couch-potato.

Cruised the world on my sailboat Nemo of Sweden but back in Sweden after 6 years out there.

PHILOSOPHY

If you not live beyond your budget, you lack in imagination!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not very active nowadays since it looks like too many people hang around here just for free lodging, not really the full give&take CS package.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Happy to host my friends back home and do it a lot. Right now limited space

"I host, I surf, therefore I am"

Interests

Skiing, testing wine, climbing mountains, fixing things, kicking back relaxing, going strange places, biking, powerlounging, internet community socializing, doing new fun and (un)dangerous things. And try to avoid sailing...

Music, Movies, and Books

Like the Springsteen/Dylan-kind of music or why not Amy W. Don't play any instruments and guess I sing really awful. Read some books, prefer unusual mysterious ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Swimming with spinning dolphins in the wild.
- Got caught in an avalanche, twice
- Built my own house by the sea
- Whales surfaced in Antarctica from under my boat

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: How to sailing around the world beeing constant seasick. Take someone geocaching or telemark skiing.

Learn: How to actually cook something out of more than two ingredients. And like it on the same time. Would really like to learn how to meditate/yoga but without the mumbojumbo, can that really be so hard?

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Antarctica, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Belize, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Guatemala, Indonesia, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City State
