I've been couchsurfing for more around ten years, but after having been inactive for a while, I can't figure out how to log in to my account anymore, so I am now setting up a new one! ;-)

I guess my most preeminent trait of character is my curiosity. I am interested in just about everything: Literature and theater and opera and that cultural stuff. I am a huge nerd and love star trek and I love to learn about physics and math (anyone know the great numberphile channel?) as well as art and rather practical stuff. I like to take the dish washer apart, when its broken and see for myself what's wrong, not that I know anything about it, I usually end up calling for help ;) I love to get outside and do stuff: Hiking, running or searching for mushrooms. I love to learn. I am a very social person. Well, I guess I could summarize it and say I am a pretty active person and... curious :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a PhD Student of Islamic Studies and am travelling the world every chance I get! I love exploring nature and culture equally; that's why I just love couchsurfing! I encourage you to get in touch with me, if you need anything and will be happy to help you any way I can, if I am not travelling myself at the time.

Let's hang out, have fun, get to know each other and talk about the world! I am an Academic through and through and love learning! That doesn't mean that I am no fun though! :-D
