PHILOSOPHY

To earn more is to give more. I believe that when a person gets more in terms of knowledge, money, and opportunities, it is an opportunity to pay back to the others and give more. And one will get back even more by giving more. Pay it forward does work for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Javanese, Indonesian, and English languages as I'm a certified teacher and I have been teaching for 10 years now. I'm also a technogeek, so I would love to share my knowledge on technology especially related to teaching languages since it is my research field. In short, I am a passionate teacher and I believe that my profession is a noble profession because I contribute in making a difference in people's life and to make the world a better place.

I would love to share Javanese and Indonesian customs and values. And, I love to learn about your cultural customs and values.

I used to be Catholic, but I converted to Islam and currently teaching in a Protestant university. Discussing religiosity in an open-minded, tolerant way is something that I enjoy. I believe we can be more tolerant and peaceful to each other by learning from and understanding others more.

I also love music and sang in a band in the past. I would love to jam with you and produce music together.

Another thing that I enjoy is reading. I'm into historical and science fiction novels, and inclined to detective stories and something with romance and sociocultural touch in it. I think reading is an eye opening activities about other people's life and cultures.
