ABOUT ME

All about me, that's a tough one. Well who am I?
Since my Name is Matthis Green, everybody thinks I have some British/American background...but i have not :-( So nothing special about that hehe

2018: After 7 years in a fixed job and an everyday normal life, i quit my job and I am traveling again. Its crazy to have that feeling of freedom again.

2012: I returned from my travels in centralamerica, and started working as a social coach for kids and coach for teachers... But I am still addicted to travelling and getting to know people... let you be the next experience for me...

2010: I just finished my studies and now I want to reach some goals I have put up for myself. That's why i just bought a ticket to go to travel centralamerica, I want to learn spanish, want to get to know the culture and learn about the people... Maybe learn about myself. The other goals I have? I tell you when I am over at your place, what do u think?
Other than that I am easy to get along with and open-minded. Depending on the daytime I am spontanous, and outgoing ;-) Always up for some fun.
In my studies I had a lot to do with outdoor sports and nature sports. Now I am really into that. I own a VW Bus and that has been my way of traveling. Pack a surfboard and ur climbing gear, maybe a kayak or just ur trekking shoes and get going...
Since I am travelling i have realized that I like hiking a lot.. and getting away from the mayor touristy spots, exploring the area by foot most of the times shows you beautiful landscape right next to a crowded area ;-)

Other than that i like to hang out too :-) I also just recently found out about my cooking skills and I really like to do that combined with a good conversation, maybe a discussion hehe. If there is nothing to debate about; well absurd topics i like also ... and can laugh about.

one thing i already learned on my travels hitchhiking: when you have faith... there will always be a solution... 98% of the time this solution is much better than expected

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recieved a lot... so I try to give a lot... a constant way of sharing the experience other people made possible for me... and i constantly try to return it to the next people I meet

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think hitchhiking and couchsurfing are the only things in life where people offer something without knowing the other one and expecting something in return except for a decent conversation and some intercultural exchange.
I have stayed with far more than 50 people... and connected with a lot over the couchsurfing meetings and groups. And this was just possible thanx to the couchsurfing project...

Interests

i am really into nature and into outdoor sports. So anything that is outside and activ, I like. Despite that, I love to laugh, go out, being creative, being spontaneous, travel, music (played the piano and just started to play the guitar...), good books, languages, magic, cooking, different cultures, different places... always up for something challenging and new...
At the moment i love throwing myself into new adventures.. like hitchhiking the countries

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to listen to old school Rap like: Mos Def, Jurassic 5 etc.
Well i found out that nowadays I tend to be much more into Reaggae but still haven't lost my old passion. Acoustic I like alot too. But i am not too strict with that and listen to all kinds of music, because there is a lot of good music out there. The only thing i can't really work with is Metall or Techno...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everytime i think that this is the best i have done/seen so far...the next morning arrives

Teach, Learn, Share

Well i would love to learn more languages and play the guitar. At the moment I try to improve my salsa, bachata I picked up in cuba.

I could teach u play the piano, talk german...although it is really difficult or i could teach you just how to act like a German haha. well I am a spontanous teacher so anything we come up with that i am able to do I will be happy to share with you, if you wish :-)
