Overview
About Me
Introvert
Cat lover
Nature lover
Unfocused artist
Taurus
I find beauty in simple things.
Life, to me, is about experiences. Money is not a huge motivator for me... I do what I can to get by, while treating others with respect and compassion.
I make jewelry, patches, and random art and also do pro domination part time.
I dream of a world where self-expression is valued instead of conformity, and people feel comfortable and safe being themselves- without shame.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have any experience using CS yet!
I've driven cross country several times and it's my favorite way to travel. I want to see everything. I love the idea of people helping each other out- making such travel possible without spending tons of money. I have yet to use CS because I am often drained from driving on these trips and not up to socializing much, and have worried about being interpreted as rude or ungracious. I'm trying to step outside my comfort zone so I can accumulate more experiences, and be a part of other's experiences.

Books: Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson is by far my favorite book.
Movies: Amelie, Psycho Beach Party, Love Potion No. 9, Anchorman, Purple Rain, Earth Girls are Easy, Black Snake Moan
TV: Broad City, The X Files, Sense8, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Buffy, 90s cartoons, any show about nature
Music: Nine Inch Nails, Fiona Apple, Lana Del Rey, Marilyn Manson, TV on the Radio, 80s alt, hip hop, bounce, and a little bit of punk.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove into a forest fire in Nebraska without realizing it... I couldn't see past my windshield because of the smoke, but I got occasional glimpses of the grass in the middle of the road burning. I held the wheel straight and eventually we drove out of the smoke. I actually have a picture from when we were inside the smoke cloud where you can see the burnt grass, thanks to my passenger.
I also drove through a serious, actual blizzard in Wyoming in my honda hatchback and a semi slid backwards into me leaving only a scratch. Ask me about that when we meet.
Teach, Learn, Share
