ABOUT ME

We are both from Southern California. Though we loved it there, we also love traveling. We went to university in BC, Canada. Now we are living in Hokkaido, Japan. We're both English teachers with the JET Programme and enjoying Hokkaido, though the winters can be a bit long. Jonathan is on an Ice Hockey team and also occasionally snowboards and rockclimbs. Stacy is on a local Yosakoi dance team. She is also working on her Masters Degree.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through CouchSurfing, my wife and I would love to meet new people. We have hosted many people from all around the world and would love to continue connecting with more! We had a great time meeting people in Seoul, Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hong Kong, and will continue to enjoy the CS community in future trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a bunch to the Greater Noboribetsu-Muroran Area. Plan to continue doing so. Also loved meeting some great people in Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong while surfing there!

Intereses

We both like traveling, talking, board games, movies, studying Japanese, and reading. I love poker, food, ice hockey, basketball, rock climbing, and ultimate frisbee.
My wife loves baking, working-out, and dancing yosakoi.

We missed our highschool graduations to go to China. We 'graduated' on The Great Wall instead!;
We were surrounded by North Korea on 3 sides!
