ABOUT ME

i recently finished my undergraduate work at SMU here in Dallas. so, now that i'm free from the academic bubble, i want nothing more than to explore the world and to meet its inhabitants (which is where real learning comes from). i hope couchsurfing helps me to that end. i follow politics intensely, i'm obsessive about finding the best new music, and i detest fluorescent light bulbs. i'm adaptable, fairly organized, slightly vain, curious as can be. and, i love an intoxicated late night out on the town just as much as i love a cozy early night watching a movie at home (with a bottle of wine of course).

PHILOSOPHY

...i studied philosophy and now i'm even more confused than when i started. so, like all of us, it comes as we grow.

bottom line now: explore, love, recognize what doesn't work, and treat people decently.

dancing at sunset in a drum circle on venice beach...not drunk, not stoned, even though everyone else was.

it stands out because all the other events i can think of involve some sort of substance.

if i'm going to be in dallas for another year of my life, i'd at least like to show off what it has to offer. we'll have fun. trust me.

any amount of time i can spend in any other place but here would be a lesson.
