ABOUT ME

I grew up in Singapore and have been here for the first 22 years of my life. Tried many different things, piano, tennis, aikido, but I ended up with dance. Best decision I made in my life.

2015 : Big year for me because I came to Anton Bruckner University to start my first year in Dance education (:

2016 : Managed to get into an Erasmus program and lived in Cologne!

2018: Graduated from my dance university!

2019: Back in my hometown in Singapore (:

My interests:

Board Games : Catan, Citadels, Arkham Horror, Smallworld, etc etc

Computer Games : NBA2k, Fifa, Dota 2, Age of Empires, Cooperative Games (Dungeon Defenders, Don't Starve Together)

Sports : Soccer, Basketball, Cycling, Going to the Gym

Martial Arts : Taichi, Aikido, Judo, Systema, these are all super interesting to me :D

PHILOSOPHY

I live to share what I've learnt in my life. I like to talk to people, discuss things and just learning from the various people I meet in my life! Life is short, we've gotta teach what we know and share what we've gained.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience with couchsurfing was in Taiwan, where I stayed at my friend's house. I slept on the floor with a few bed linens tucked under me. I must say though it wasn't the most comfy thing in the world, it was nice that I get to wake up in a new place and breathe some fresh air :D

Ever since then I found that couchsurfing is a place where you meet people who are really open for you, to meet you, and to share positivity with you.. I've met some really nice people through couchsurfing, the people you meet on this platform is just amazing (:

I once missed a flight and then ended up sleeping at the airport. Witnessed pickpockets trying to steal things from others when they were asleep!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really fanatic about movement. It is my passion to teach movement. Currently I teach contemporary dance, and swimming. I would eventually look to go into teaching rock climbing and a russian martial art form called Systema.
