Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm Nerea, from Spain and I'm studying architecture. I'm a really optimistic and alive person, allways ready for adventures! I've been travelling at least once a year van with my family and I've been also a host family for some time. I think this made a big part of who I am: the adventures, experiences and different points of views. Now that these trips have come to an end I'm looking for new experiences and new ways of traveling, always with a more local point of view, as well as having a great and interesting time. During this time I became really interested in different cultures and places (sometimes you don't eve need to go to far to discover them).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since the very first time I heard about it, I thought it was a great way of traveling and a even a good way of thinking about life and people. So, with no doubt, the best way of supporting it is beeing part of it. Of course, I think it's a great opportunity to visiting places by a much more closer point of view, where both parts (traveler and host) can learn a lot.
Interests
I'm really interested in new cultures, reading and painting. I also love music and I love just hanging around and discovering new places. Of course, I'm also very interested in architecture and I love cooking. Oh, hiking and camping!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Into the Wild (I would watch it over and over again, also the music there is awesome)
Books: Jose Luis Sampedro is one of my favourite writters, I specially love its book La Senda del Drago, even thought maybe he's more known by its book: "The etruscan Smile". Right now I'm also very interested in some writers way of thinking such as Henry David Thoreau and beat generation.
I specially enjoy rock, alternative, jazz and ska music (quite a big mix). Bohemian Raphsody is with no doubt, one of my favourites songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once, I planned a trip to UK, but when we were going to take the ferry from Calais, we discovered that we couldn't go because of the vaccines of our dog. It was six in the morning, we took a plan and we started the trip right there from zero. We could go anywhere!
