Empezar a definirse a una misma en unas líneas siempre me ha parecido una tarea interesante, pues tienes que hacer un ejercicio de meditación interno para plasmar lo que llevamos dentro. Mi nombre de perfil indica que me llamo Nerea Polka. Lo cierto es que Polka es el nombre de mi compañera canina, un animal al que defino como el que más me ha enseñado de honestidad en el trayecto de mi vida y al que le brindo la mayor parte de mi amor.

Soy una persona que desde pequeñita me ha movido la curiosidad, las ganas de conocer, investigar, sentir, oler,...aprender...con todas estas consignas y alguna más ya empecé a dar mis primeros pasos. Siempre guerrera como me define mi familia, he tendido a luchar y defender aquello que a muchas personas de este planeta se les olvida, la naturaleza, en toda su grandeza y conexión con todo. A una edad muy temprana empecé a escribir mis primeros versos y desde entonces nació mi entusiasmo por la literatura y la palabra, así como por la ciencia.

Me he movido desde adolescente en temas relacionados con la Permacultura, la Bioconstrucción, Energías Libres, Grupos autogestinados,...en definitiva con una cultura y una filosofía de vida que tiende a la ayuda mutua, a conocerse a una misma y a tratar otros tipos de alternativas posibles en las que el ser humano potencia valores imprescindibles para vivir una vida en armonía. Esto me ha llevado a disfrutar de distintos proyectos por los que me he movido.

También mis curiosidades y ganas no se quedaron ahí. Tanto el teatro como el clown y la música forman parte de mi vida y de pasos que he ido dando junto con personas de las cuales he aprendido. Realmente pienso que la risa, el juego y la creación artística es fundamental.

Actualmente estoy terminando la carrera de Ingeniería Forestal en Galicia, España. Aquí, lejos de mi tierra, evolucionando, oliendo a mar. Con un trabajo final dedicado a la Comunicación entre Plantas, un tema realmente interesante por el cual pienso que se pueden caer muchos mitos y con el cual se llega a cambiar nuestra mentalidad en referencia a estos seres vivos que aunque no lo parezcan, son extremadamente inteligentes.

Algo de lo que no me puedo olvidar es de contar mi pasión por el montañismo y la escalada, deportes que practico y me llenan el alma. Cuando se escucha hablar a una montaña no se olvida jamás. La libertad que aporta escalar a muchos metros de altura y tener cuerpo, mente y espíritu conectado es una de las sensaciones más primitivas que he vivido. La paciencia en cada paso, el esfuerzo...pureza.

Podría decir que he hecho un resumen de lo que soy pero lo cierto es que el mejor resumen es seguir viajando y seguir conociendo a personas, animales, plantas, bacterias...mil formas de vida que seguirán aportando mucho a mi persona interior.

The truth is that Polka is the name of my canine companion, an animal which I define as the one who has taught me honesty in the way of my life and that gave him most of my love.

I am a person who has moved me as a little curiosity, the desire to know, investigate, feel, smell, ... learn ... with all these slogans and some more I started to take my first steps. Always warrior like me define my family, I have tended to fight and defend what many people on this planet is forgotten, nature in all its grandeur and connection with everything. At a very early age I started writing my first poems was born and since then my enthusiasm for literature and speech, as well as science.

I have moved from teenager on issues related to permaculture, Bioconstruction, Free Energy, autogestinados Groups, ... ultimately with a culture and a philosophy of life that tends to mutual aid, known to one and treat other types of possible alternatives in which man power necessary to live a life in harmony values. This has led me to enjoy various projects I've moved.

Also my curiosity and desire were not there. Both the theater and clowning and music are part of my life and I have been taking steps together with people from whom I learned. I really think that laughter, play and artistic creation is fundamental.

Currently I am finishing the race of Forestry in Galicia, Spain . Here, far from my land , evolving , smelling sea. With a final work dedicated to the communication between plants , a really interesting topic for which I think can fall many myths and which come to change our mindset regarding these living things that even if they seem , are extremely intelligent.

Something I can not forget is to have my passion for mountaineering and climbing sports I practice and fill my soul . When you hear about a mountain you will never forget . The freedom that brings scale to many meters high and have a body , mind and spirit connected is one of the most primitive feelings I have experienced . Patience in each step, the effort ... purity.

I could say that I have made a summary of what I am but the truth is that the best summary is to keep traveling and keep meeting people , animals, plants , bacteria ... many life forms that continue to contribute much to my inner person.
