Let's start for the beggining then...
I'm living in Dublin for almost 2 years ago, will be my 2º anniversary very soon. I lived in Germany as well for a whole year, used to speak German but my brain has already forgotten it :)
My life it's very simple and always the same: working with children -my passion, but not over the weekend, please!- combinated with my other passion: feminism&political activism and social change. And of course, friends and social life, not too much tho lol
Also I'm very quiet person, love to spend time in home reading books and drinking a good warm tea while I'm eating chocolate, that's my favourite plan to do. When I'm not reading, watching movies or with my political activities, I love traveling, and most travel around Ireland, I think this country it's the best for getting lost yoursefl and meeting wonderful people as Irish people is. And, absolutely, listening amazing traditional music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found CS while I was living in Hamburg and to be honest what I like about it are the stories. This place it's the best to hear and meet new stories and share your owns so definitely that's why I'm on CS.

Interests

You may wondering why am I activist or what could be interest in politics. This is so far one of my favourites talks, having a coffee and time to make it nicer. To be quick, I started working as an activist from a very young age in my born country. In Dublin I'm involved with many Irish society movements, such as Repeal the 8th, or the water charges or the terrible housing crisis that is being lived in Dublin, under which many people are being forced to homelessness . I have a deep social and political vision of the world and not for pleasure, just because it is necessary to fight and create another global system, fair and equitable for all of us.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm addicted to listen music, my earphones are my best friend, cannot be without them! My favourite band has always been The Killers, and there's no chance to change that. Rock, rock&roll, indie and also traditional Irish music are on my playlist. Here's one funny story: I've been listening Irish traditional music since I was a child. My dad has always loved Ireland and their music so when I was little he used to make me listen Irish and celtic music, so it has always been part of my life.
About movies, I'm a total geek person. I love Sci&Fi -Star Wars are the greatest saga ever!-, Marvel, The Lord of the Rings -well, they could fight for the best saga as well- and not also these kinda movies: Gibhli Studios, thriller movies, and have to admit, animation movies. Of course, politics&history movies, psychology's... etc
What kinda books do I usually read? Well, the proper question is what kinda books do not I usually read. I'm a bookworm and cannot have one or two favourites books. I usually read subjects as feminism, politics, fantasy, astronomy and astrophysics, comics, Sci&Fi, poetry, psychology, child psychology, general novels, botany... and a long etc.
