Overview
About Me
- We're Sidney and Nez and for the next 5 months, we'll be travelling across Mexico :)
- We recently got engaged before heading on this trip so figured we’d reward ourselves by getting lost somewhere else in the world for a few months together.
- We've both taken a career break from 8-10 years working in our respective fields (Sid, Marketing & Digital Advertising & Nez, Macquarie Bank HR).
- We're both from Australia and have just started learning Spanish so please bear with us if our communication is not that great in that area just yet.
- We are both very considerate people and love to have a chat to get to know the people we’re meeting and staying with, including absolutely sharing each other’s cultures. Having said that, we definitely don’t need to be entertained 24/7 and we know when our host needs some quiet time =)
- We are both very easy going and down to earth and definitely do not shy away from a bit of adventure especially when combined with travel. But in the end, the main takeaway we would like is to walk away with some new life skills that either changes or adds value to our life back home. We have travelled to open our minds to new ways of thinking and working so this will be our priority in the opportunities we hopefully open with you.
If there's anything else you want to know, feel free to ask!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ll be Couchsurfing with my fiancé.
We decided to couch surf, to get a local feel to any new place we may travel to. Not speaking the native tongue sometimes hinders in understanding the culture and understanding the people in that area. So getting that local expertise would be greatly appreciated.
