Overview
About Me
I finally am back in Betong, Thailand, after traveling the world for 3.5 years and have done so many incredible things.
I don’t have space to host right now, but I’m up to meeting up and having good conversation!
CURRENT MISSION
Live a happy life. :-)
ABOUT ME
I'm open-minded, easy going, and full of useless knowledge and silly jokes that always make my friends roll eyes but laugh like crazy. I’m also a good listener if you need someone to talk to.
I like backpacking, hiking, camping and everything that makes me feel closer to nature.
About our beloved earth and nature, yeah, I love nature and I really concern about global warming, so I intend to live with as less waste as possible. So there’s no more one time used plastic, fast fashion clothes, but more vegetarian meal.
I always travel solo and love making friends along the way. Although I’m traveling with my bf now, still, we both love meeting new friends. Learning new cultures and languages always make me fun. And CS is somehow the best way that can give me a lot of new interesting experience which any hostel couldn't.
Although I’ve never been good at cooking before, after I met my husband in Medellin, I’ve improved a lot, and thanks to the pandemic and quarantine time, I’m a good cook now that I even opened a Thai restaurant in Medellin! Lol. So let’s share some meal together!!
One more thing, I don't smoke nor drink any kind of alcohol, obviously I’m not a party person. That’s just so you know. :-)
PHILOSOPHY
"Be happy, be kind, be responsible, and be yourself!"
"What has to come out, has to come out!"
"Everyone should have a rights to end their own lives when they’re ready. I believes that’s a human rights too.”
“Have a thought of suicidal is nothing wrong, but before you execute that idea, you probably need to talk to someone.” ... you can text me! Hooray!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I really love my surfing experience which have been giving me good friends, and even my second mom!!
About hosting, I got many good and bad experiences as some travelers are really disrespectful, and they treated us like a hostel and expect us to provide them everything even toilet paper, well, it just ran out, dude! So I’m, of course, not gonna behave like that when I surf at your couch, actually I always buy somethings for my host home, like hand soap or cooking oil. Tbh, I normally spend more money being a couchsurfers than staying at the hostel. It’s just all about experiences and getting to know local people!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
All sorts of books but I grew up with “Harry Potter” so it's the first English book I can think about.
“Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine” is my kinda book that always cheer me up and gave me hope about humanity.
“Girl with the dragon tattoo” and another 2 books of this series is my all-time favorite!
I'm manga lovers. Doraemon is my hero. One Piece is my fav.
Music:
Easy listening songs, any pop songs which can lift up my mood.
Language does not matter, I dont really care to understand the lyrics tbh. I think I can feel the song by the melody mostly.
Movies:
Any genres except Sci-fi or fantasy.
But I love Avatar because it's about nature.
Independent films always attract me.
Something that reflect the ugly truth of humanity is always my cup of tea.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling solo for 2 years before the pandemic from Thailand all the way to South America + experiencing real living in Colombia for another 2 years was such a precious time for me!
My Everest base camp trekking trip in Nepal, 2013, was amazing, there's blizzard though. :P
Hike alone to Knivkjellodden for 8 hours round trip, the northernmost of mainland Europe alone in foggy and windy weather. It's amazing but I started to feel like the weather is really not on my side. T^T
10-day trekking through Altai region and sleeping in 3-class Trans Siberian train were fantastic and made me fall in love with Russia.
8 days thru-hike alone on Great ocean trail in Australia was a wow experience as I stayed in my tent alone in a middle of the forest with foxes running around my tent at night. Tbh, luckily it wasn’t human.
Trekking in Peru was amazing and breath taking especially the Huayhuash trail and Ausangate.
10 days trip to Antarctica was like out of this world!!
And diving in Galapagos was like heaven!!
I was running a restaurant, with Lucho the hubby, which was our fun passion project more than something for money during the pandemic year in Medellin, Colombia. It’s an amazing experience doing everything from scratch, I really did enjoy it so much. ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Thai language if you're interested, it’s quite useless though.
I'd love to learn everything, culture, and language.
I'd like to share and to be shared travel experiences and fun stories with everyone.
I can also shard snacks and drink. :-)
I can now teach you how to cook authentic Pad Thai!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, snacks, drinks, stories, and space in my tent if we do trekking together. :-)
