About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Feel uncomfortable and do it anyway.
ABOUT ME
I'm just a girl trying to make her way in the world. Some days I feel like I can conquer anything, some days I realize I am but a speck on this earth. Either way, I'm having a great time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed more than I've hosted, mostly due to living situations and shared housing, but I am trying to get that more in balance after a bit of a break from CS. It's been 99% positive since I joined in 2008-ish and I always try to spread the word of Couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with folks who leave their houses unlocked and let me show up while they are at work. I have stayed with folks who showed me around their cities for days on end. I've had folks who have pointed to the couch and said sorry, but I'm really busy right now - make yourself comfortable. I've had great people stay with me and been able to share in some of their adventures, too.

Music, Movies, and Books
oooo man. Not enough hours in the day (or enough space) to list them all. Just a few, though...
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Stranger Than Fiction, The Princess Bride, Juno (those are the fun ones). Also documentaries; Netflix in general.
Books: Goodreads.com is all I have to say.
Music: anything but modern country, opera, screaming into microphones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Machu Picchu at sunrise. Participating in the Aymara winter solstice and absorbing the first (sunburning) rays of the new year. Hanging upside down over the lip of a canyon (trust experiment). Building and sitting in a homemade steam hut on the beach on the side of the Colorado River. Dancing in the streets all night in a tiny town in Bolivia.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Ireland, Mexico, Peru, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
United States
