About Me
ABOUT ME
about me? I'm willing to meet you! a guy or a girl, younger or older, as long as you have something to share, and weather you're the one travelling or I'm the one traveling!
PHILOSOPHY
I do my thing and you do yours, and if we met somewhere in the middle, wouldn't that be beautiful?
There is always something to gain from wherever you go, whoever you meet and no matter how good or bad it ends up.
Haters just need more love! :P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing couches , meeting people while travelling and helping people who come to Egypt.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in 2011 in Hamburg,Germany I started by asking people to show me around the city, as I've already had a place to stay for a month. I was amazed when I met people who wanted to show you around their city just because they want to meet you and your culture, also derived by their love for their own city! Then I got a message inviting me for dinner at someone's place whom I've never met "I see that you're from Egypt, my son is going there in two weeks, it would be nice if you can join us for dinner sometime" in the end it was a really nice experience as well! Then I was invited to a couchsurfer's meeting in Hamburg! it was amazing how you can meet lots of people from everywhere coming just to meet other cultures under one roof!:) I made lots of friends and knew lots of non-German cultures as well! after that the first thing I did when going to any city in the world is to look for CS meetings! its way much more convenient than messaging people, and you get to meet lots of people real quick!
I've been to CS meetings in Hamburg, Amsterdam, Prague(the central Europe CS meeting 2011 for three whole days), Budapest, Krakow and Berlin.
I've also got many Surfing experiences with hosts from different countries. ITS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE from staying at a hotel/hostel!! not even comparable! :D
You get to squeeze out the culture without leaving the place you're staying in. just spend time with your host, and simply have conversations about your country and their country, try their food, cook them your food, listen to their music, and make them listen to your's as well. one last thing about safety, I read profiles carefully but I don't care much about references, its not very safe to do that, but If you read the references carefully as well, its almost impossible for something bad to happen :)
