ABOUT ME

I'm a talkative, inquisitive, open-minded person, curious to get to know
the world and its various cultures. I try to be helpful, kind and polite towards anyone and I think it works quite well :)

I cannot imagine any more fascinating thing to do than occupying one's time in discovering the mysteries of the human language, fathoming out how it has developped and how it works, not only for language leads us the furthest we might enter into human thinking patterns and therefore to the deepest ground of ourselves, but also for it reveals to us the most interesting truths about our ancestors' conception of the world, their religion and even their history, which makes it the essential key to both ourself and the world, not less than any natural science.

Life is short when taking into account the number of things that can be discovered. One should strive to discover them and one's lifetime must not be wasted.
And in the meantime: Have a drink ;)

By the way: Life is a society thing. Some tend to forget that. We should live for the others just as we do for ourselves.
So: Just have a drink TOGETHER ;)

I don't have any experiences yet, as I'm new in here - but I'm defenitely looking forward to it ;)

Interests

There are two main interests of mine: Music and languages. I play the trumpet and the piano for many years and I sing in a Choir as well. Playing in several orchestras, musical projects or occasionally helping out when music is required for any event, doing music is what I spend most of my time in.
Improvising for some time on my piano, just what comes to my mind, is the most pleasant thing I can imagine after a stressful day.
I don't spend all evenings at home and I don't spend all evenings in bars or discos.
Just as important as music is having a nice conversations and meeting people. That's why I prefer nice bars and restaurants to discos and cubs with loud music where you can't hear yourself speaking.

There is nothing greater than learning a language - I'll always be prepared (indeed I'll be nosy...:P) to profit from a native speakers knowledge - and of course I'd be happy to share my knowledges of German ;)
If you even have a piano in your house it will be a pleasure to play or even more if we could do some music together :)
