Overview
About Me
I'm trying to live like a nomad around the world, volunteer, try different jobs, etc. for as many years as I can. Without any specific plans, no schedules, no route, just going with the flow. I've recently met a girl just like me, Sandra, and we are now traveling together.
I'm very open-minded, talkative and independent, but as I get older I like a simpler life, nothing fancy. I'm interested in street culture, people and nature among many other things. I'm not interested in vain things like money, clothes, luxuries, shopping, etc.
I used to party a lot when I was younger, now I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't enjoy bars or parties, and I prefer a good hike, a good talk, getting lost, good challenges, helping others, doing and learning things, etc.
Moving and living in different places has taught me the importance of freedom and living with few attachments. I'm very interested in self-sufficiency and doing more with less, so now I'm trying to acquire more knowledge and skills, cause as the saying goes, "The richest man is not he who has the most, but he who needs the least".
I'm not on CS for dating or looking for a relationship at the moment, so if I send you a request it's only because you seem an interesting host to stay with and because I think we can enjoy each other's company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Maybe because I think it's always best to mingle with locals when traveling, but also cause it's always nice to meet good people, travelers, etc. When I backpack, I like planning as little as possible, I like the freedom and the unexpected, so probably I will only have a vague idea of where to go or what to do next. Which means, I'll be glad to hear your suggestions, open to anything, and free to do things together if you'd like to. Trip partners are also welcome, and in general I'm just hoping to meet all kinds of interesting people!

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many, really. Pretty much everything except music that it's too slow or books and movies that get lost in endless descriptions... I usually like thrilling and exciting stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even the simplest things in this life are amazing IMO. Amazing thing I have seen? 8 people in a scooter 🤣🤣🤣 Amazing thing I have done? Really, too many, but recently maybe learn Kung Fu in a Buddhist monastery, climb a Himalayan mountain by myself without a guide, ride an elephant around the jungle and eat larvae, grasshoppers and crickets. In my life... have been to festivals that lasted for weeks, lots of road trips, backpacked around different countries, lived in different countries and mingled with different cultures, met all kinds of people, featured a hip-hop song 🤣, spent Chinese New Year with a small family of farmers in the middle of nowhere, and so much more...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to learn languages more efficiently, cause I've studied and done that for most of my life. I also know a lot about people and psychology cause it's related to my major and one of my hobbies. I'm good with computers, sports, nutrition and learning about self-sufficiency now, I can share it all. Since I've been living abroad so many times and for so long, many people also ask me for tips about emigrating or about China, I'll be glad to help you and share everything I know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Pretty much everything I know and everything I have experienced, try to make interesting conversations and have a good time. I can give a hand with anything if needed.
