I am a Cuban born living in Brazil for 18 years now. I am married to a Brazilian dentist, and we have a couple of children.

In addition to my mother tongue , I am fluent in Portuguese and English. I know a bit of Italian, French and German.

I have been working as a voice teacher for more than 20 years, and finished my Master´s degree in Music by the Federal University of Minas Gerais , Brazil.

I am looking forward to meet more friends and cultures.

I am searching for University programs in different countries, as I intend to go for my PhD diploma.

Travelling and making friends is also a great way to visit new countries and share a bit of the real culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually I am a music lover, so I consider myself very open minded to styles and genres, as much as they are artistically genuine.

Then , I can say I love Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, but I can also like cuban son ( salsa) jazz, flamenco, Radiohead, Adele, John Legend...and so on, it all depends.

Reading is a constant habit in my life. I read from Didactic books to Science Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my years of Student at the Music faculty in Havana, Cuba, I had great opportunities to go abroad as a singer. I was a member of a vocal ensemble, and we participated at different Vocal competitions across 7 countries in Europe.

In Brazil I have also sang in operas and stage concerts.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a Professor , I have worked at the Superior Institute for the Arts in Cuba, at the State University of Minas Gerais, and at The Federal University of Minas gerais , Brazil.

I want to learn more languages, such as French and German and I need to improve my English.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very friendly person, and like to share what I can do best. That is singing, teaching how to sing, and how to develop a healthy voice as a mean of communication.

I can teach Spanish for any one interested about this important and beautiful language.

I can also teach Brazilian Portuguese and we can learn about Cuban culture and also about Brazil, my second land.
