Overview
About Me
- someone difficult to annoy or bore: I don't mind "bad" weather, long journeys and waiting in lines
- haven't settled on an interest or a skill or a field yet; except perhaps for travelling, some gears keep me moving
- can eat a whole can of condensed milk at once on a good day
- I keep losing my things and magically finding them again a few months or a year later, somebody help me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love connections and surprises, with CS you get plenty.
I've couchsurfed in Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Iceland and Poland.
My family has hosted a lot of couchsurfers from maaany places.
Interests
I like to find beauty in my surroundings and try to capture it if I can. I like hitchhiking and old trains, languages and mystical stuff and absurdity and observing and adapting and coincidences and adventure and processes and characteristics (of anything). I like to combine things, like colours or tastes.
Music, Movies, and Books
Sometimes I feel like Die Antwoord (my favourite group) or Foo Fighters and System Of a Down, sometimes like Louis Armstrong or Rejjie Snow or Tame Impala or Cypress Hill or kwaito or UK rap or Beethoven or Moomin soundtracks or Metallica or electronic music or something else.
Latest discoveries are Show Dem Camp and Hatari.
Some Estonian music I like: Tommy Cash, meisterjaan, nublu, Raimond Valgre, Arvo Pärt, Vennaskond, Sven Grünberg, Winny Puhh.
I like letting Spotify do its thing and spoil me with recommendations and playlists, not letting me remember many names.
The book that has influenced me a lot is "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.
I really enjoy reading, but it is sad to admit that the interweb and the smartphone have creeped in to conquer my daily attention in many ways. Been reading way less than I would like to these days.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After weeks of socializing I took a seven day motorbike trip alone in Northern Thailand and loved every single curve of it. There were hundreds and hundreds!
