Overview
About Me
Constantly failing at being a planned traveller, but realising that it somehow always turns out perfectly anyway. (Sorry about the last-minute requests).
Postponing further education and instead learning (more or less usefull) stuff, like how to:
- mass-pacify children
- get unlimited amounts of free cabbage
- follow the surprisingly complicated Vietnamese slipper-rules
- prevent cows from eating your mangos
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It seems to be full of kind and interesting people, who can teach me more than all of the waterfalls, temples, tourguides and museums in the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
My dad has indoctrinated me to like the well-known musical genre "dad rock", but I enjoy all sorts of genres and appreciate advice on new music.
I have also just discovered the nice sound of rhymes in German music.
I am currently all caught up in the books by Kurt Vonnegut. I love weird short-stories. Do tell me about your favorite books!
I can watch Kubrick-movies again and again and again. I also enjoy stuff like Wes Anderson, Tarantino and Miyazaki - and laughing over British humour until my stomach hurts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed for some days with this incredibly nice polish family I met while hitchhiking. They didn't speak any English, but showed an overwhelming amount of care and affection.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you important Danish words such as "hello", "thank you" and "beer" and we can share useful knowledge of our cultures (I will probably end up showing you photos of Danish rye bread).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Of course, I can give you a crash course on Danish culture, history and language and try to create some traditional Danish "smørrebrød", "koldskål" or perhaps a sandwich cake with avocado-cream (yes, it is really taste).
I am flexible, don't need much, can sleep anywhere and eat anything.
I am also a pro at doing the dishes and I can teach you how to make some moderately cool origami.
