About Me

I was born on September 25, 1990 in the (at this time still 8 more days existing) former german democratic republic. Until I was 2 i lived close to Berlin. Then my parents moved to the eastern sea, where i should stay until i was 5. With an age of 5 my Family moved to central Germany and as i was 11 everybody moved again to Bavaria, where my parents and some of my 4 ciblings still live today.

I did my A-Levels in 2010 and immediately after that the german government drafted my to the at this time still existing compulsory military service. After having survived i decided in January 2011 to do backpacking in Australia, which i did until mid of July. This time was probably the most decisive time for all decissions i made afterwards. I started to work towards an international career and decided to do major in industrial engineering with intercultural orientation. I started to study end of 2011 and learned four different languages until 2014. I also became the head of sales department of a student business consultancy and finished my studies with a thesis at BMW AG in Germany.

Now in 2015 I am in the Masters Programm in the same major. I am currently working at BMW USA as an intern and try to get better in spanish. Inbetween October and December 2015 I am looking forward to backpack in South America and in January 2016 i am going to study one semester in Montpellier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to get more experiences about certain regions and to learn more about people. I think it's so much value on the one hand to invite travellers with lots of experiences in your own home and on the other hand to focus on very few people that live in a country that you travel.

Interests

While travelling, I am interested in learning, communication, sightseeing and having a good time. The latter can be sightseeing, partying, having interesting conversations.

While offering a couch so sleep, I am interested in people that are interested in people and in the country that they are travelling.

My interests in general are: Languages, Good Food, Politics, Ecomony, Cars (I don't understand much mechanical, but i like driving them, though!), Workout, Snowboarding, Surfing, Running.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Music is depending on my mood. Mostly it's something in between HipHop, EDM and Chillout.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the Great Ocean Walk in Australia with a 34kg Backpack. I would never do it like that again..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you... PowerPoint, Excel, SAP, English, French, German, Management Courses, Quality Management, Project Management, Process Management, ARIS, ... I think it's better if we talk about your interests first :D

I want to learn something about your experience. No matter what.
