About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have as many adventures as possible!
ABOUT ME
I'm an American who likes to travel and learn new things. I'm pretty much open to meeting anyone, and I particularly like music and outdoor activities. My traveling experiences have truly enriched my life, and I am so grateful to have met so many wonderful people along the way. I hope to keep making friends from every culture.
PHILOSOPHY
Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.
-Rainer Maria Rilke

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to mostly alternative/indie rock. Here are some bands I like: Belle & Sebastian, New Pornographers, PJ Harvey, The Smiths, Les Savy Fav, Spoon, Gang of Four, The Hives, Talking Heads, Iron & Wine, Journey, Pixies, Miles Davis, etc. I would really like to learn more about Japanese rock music.I love reading! Mostly I read modern fiction, classics, memoirs, and humor, but I also enjoy non-fiction and psychology and philosophy books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Toured the Ziggurat of Ur in Nasariyah, Iraq! It's 6000 years old. Yes!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn foreign languages, history, or just hear your story. I'll don't know what I can teach, but I can and make you a mixed CD. I can also teach you how to make a flamin' Dr. Pepper!
