To bring the sun into your life
ABOUT ME
Salut,
I'm Anett, a sunny, happy, German girl who loves to have friends around, a good wine in her hand and great music in her ears. I love to explore the world and its different cultures...to get new impressions, other sides of view and friends. I was born in Germany and lived there for 27 years. After a short break of only 6 months in wonderful, amazing France I decided to leave my country to go to Canada...and I didn't regret it. I travelled around Europe a couple of times and loved every country in its own way. But I'm also fascinated by North and South America and can't wait to travel around within the next years!
PHILOSOPHY
Always have a smile on your lips...you never know what happens next!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now that I'm a proud owner of a couch, I'm able to offer both a couch and a meeting. Depending on my (sometimes really busy) work schedule, I can give you a first impression of Toronto, together with a cup of hot coffee in your hands and interesting conversations. I'm open-minded, sometimes really ironic but always with a smile on my face. If I won't have time to show you around, I can at least provide you with a map and good advice what to see in Toronto - without getting lost.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was really lucky with my very first CS experience in Montréal last year. I had the best host ever and fell totally in love with the idea of CS. This year I could extend my experiences and couchsurfed 3 weeks along the west coast of Canada and some places in the USA. And, I'll do it again! It's so amazing to meet strange people, talk with them about the world, become a part of their lifes while sleeping at their places and enjoy trips together with them. In the end you are more open minded then before and found a friend you can always trust. Can't wait for my next CS-trip!
Interests
I'm interested in new countries, cultures and languages. It's always fascinating how people from different countries see the world and live their lifes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Enjoyed the French way of life in Strasbourg, with awesome cheese, wine and chocolate.
Saw my first black bear, whale and moose in Canada - all enjoying life in Canada's beautiful wild nature.
Was part of a great blues festival in New Orleans and could explore other unique NOLA places and adventures...many thanks to my CS host Dennis!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not a good teacher at all. But I lived in Germany and France, so I can show you how to relax with a wonderful wine, great music and a nice conversation about the world.
