COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I owe so much of the fun and experience I have had during my travels to the people who hosted me. I have have hosted in Edmonton and also in Berlin where I used to live and study. I found that by hosting, the world kind of comes to you. Plus I found when I was showing people my hometown, it made me appreciate where I live even more. I have not been on couchsurfing for a couple years so just checking in once again for travel and meeting new people with similar hobbies!
Interests
Being active, doing yoga, going out. Also, just trading stories, recipes, eating, siteseeing, learning about history of the cities I'm in as well as the ins and outs of cities that typical tourists don't see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I find these stories come out best when your having a conversation with someone. Ive travelled quite a bit and have some interesting adventures, and would love to swap stories over a couple beers.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have lived in Canada and Germany, and can speak German. Language exchange would be great, since one day I may move back to a German speaking country.
I'm a nutritionist and foodie/chef, so I can teach about cooking, ethnic foods, and nutrition.
I am often on biking or jogging on the beautiful river valley trails. I can show you nice parks and nature spots in the city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook for all my hosts, as a way to give thanks and spend some time to get to know the other person. I do not look at cs as a 'free place to stay' but rather a great opportunity to enrich the travel experience by getting to know locals and with that their language, culture, insider tips, and experience another's way of enjoying life!
I am happy to be flexible when I travel so that there is opportunity to both do my own thing, and join in things with my host, like checking out a park, a pub, or event.
In a nutshell: I can share good vibes, good conversation, good food, and polite respect towards your home as a guest.
