Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here primarily to host people from other countries. If you are from the U.S., I'm most likely going to decline. As I've traveled around the world, I'm simply trying to give back to all the people who have accommodated me.

NOTE: If your account isn't verified AND you don't have any references from Couchsurfers who have hosted you, I'm likely going to decline a request to stay. I don't accept Facebook, AirBnB or other outside references and I'm definitely not going to call a friend of yours for a reference if you send me a message asking me to verify you. I understand, if you just signed up it's hard to get references, but I'm not willing to be the first reference.
