Overview
About Me
I grew up in Majorca, an island, and I think this affects my character. I’m a calm and relaxed person, maybe shy in a first impression. I moved to Barcelona at 18, I went to college and studied political science. I lived in Paris, in Valencia, and recently moved again to Barcelona. I really love this city, their historic buildings, the culture, terraces, social live, people…although I’m always thinking about returning home :)
I love good conversations, listen to stories, interesting people, good food, travel… I'm very curious, so any kind of things grab my attention all the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have'nt really had any couchsurfing experience, although I lived abroad and any time I had a place of my own (in Barcelona, Paris or Majorca) I offered it to my Friends. I think I've always been a nice host and I tried to show them different perspectives of the cities.
I’m on Coushsurfing because I want to learn about all the small things that would never be written about on a website or in a travel book.
Interests
Read, read and read. I use to spend hours reading articles about politics, urban sociology, sociology in general, feminism, social and solidarity economy… and reading novels!
Good wine, good beer, and a good conversation on a terrace.
Mountains, pure air, trekking. The feelings after a long walk, the calm and the silence.
The sea (I’m from an island, that’s inevitable).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen the sunrise from the top of the mountain in the Pyrenees, I crossed the Rif Mountains in Morocco by bus which was a pretty curious experience and I went scuba diving in the clearest water you can imagine (in my home, Majorca, of course ;). I’ve also spent two weeks at the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf, Algeria, which I wouldn’t describe as an “amazing” experience but as an experience that has left a mark on me.
