CURRENT MISSION

To feel love and compassion for everybody, even with those that I get angry about and with whom I wholeheartedly disagree about how to be in the world. But to also keep in sight the current state of affairs and to remember that no rights were ever granted, that to change the status quo for more justice will always upset some people, but that then things will start to shift and women are not so evil anymore, nor people of different races, or religions, or sexual orientations, or genders, or abilities, or ages or nothing.

ABOUT ME

I work in The New Leaf Co-op, a wholefood shop run as a workers' co-op of which I'm a founding member. I'm also currently studying a counseling skills course which is amazing.
I like smiles and short stories, especially if they happen on top of a tree.
I like people. I like that I work seeing a lot of people and I get to share my joy for life with all of them. I like that in my counseling course I'm getting to learn about how to listen to others with my full being and attention in such way that they will feel fully heard and understood. We need so much of that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After so long being off it, due to too much work to travel, and too busy and with not enough space in my shared houses to host, I'm now back on it because I'll be traveling with my mum in Israel this August, and I very much hope that I can help her trust in the goodness and always funness of those willing to open up their homes and hearts for those who travel.
Such beautiful things always come out of that!
